TL2 Bio and other Information on EvO:R
"Distorted guitar riffage flies from the speakers, along with some quick-picked rock soloing.
Harrelson aka..TL2 is quite comfortable mixing a disparate range of styles -
it's quite likely the full CD release will feature more of the same.".......

Bio/Information about TL2
TL2 a.k.a.
Charlie Harrelson- born in Chicago in 1956. He grew up in Orlando
Fla. and is a proud alumni of Boone High School. After graduation he moved
to Miami Florida and spent a few years studying music history and playing guitar with various bands in the Miami area.
During the mid '70's he met drummer
Mark Bell and bass player Craig Whitaker and together they formed the
progressive rock power trio Crystal Mythos. A couple recording offers were on the table before
the disco revolution forced the band out of the limelight and they later disbanded.
Out of music for more than 15 years before an indie film project called "The Tonearm Project"
rekindled the musical flames. Teaming up with keyboard wizard and computer guru Jeff Williford
stimulated Charlie into getting back to making music. The music performed by Williford and Harrelson
on "The Tonearm Project" was never made available to the public but a bootleg demo circulated around the
Indie community for a few months. This bootleg created a degree of interest from a few Internet distributors but no agreement was
ever reached to make the music available.
Note: There has been talk of a TL2 chronicles release that would feature many of these original gems.
Now that the music bug hit, Charlie turned to the Internet for support and the hope of new ideas.
The Internet was thought to be full of answers but it was full of confusion so
Charlie formed a music coop organization known today as EvO:R.
As both a musician and the founder of a large musicians coop. Charlie has not only
kindled the musicial flames, he has started a huge fire with such projects as
Life Without Light, Esoteric Visions (as he is rejoined with his former drummer Mark Bell),
Tracks Across Amerca Vol.1-5, and spending time with Internet super group A.S.H. just to name a few.
During the last 5 years Charlie Harrelson (using the name TL2) has recorded and released multiple CD's through his relationship
with the music distribution website Peacework Music Network...CD's include:
Life without Light, 3 songs dedicated to the tragic 9-11 experience.
Two, a full length CD release offering with great reviews.
Lounge Lizard, a series of unreleased demos featuring multiple styles.
Esoteric Visions, as guitar player for the mind-game Quad-Cranium.
Tracks Across America, a compilation CD project with many members of EvO:R.
Charlie Harrelson was also rewarded by guitar9.com with their Best Undiscovered Guitarist Award.
This award has been one of great pride to Charlie and has given him the motivation to continue making amazing music.
CD Reviews
I'll start this out by saying Charlie has some great guitar chops. He can
do it all, and he does it well. TL2 mixes synthesized backgrounds with killer
solo guitar. If you have any love for Steve Vai, you'll like TL2. He has the
same way of speaking through his guitar rather than vocally. The guitar sound
is great and he uses interesting beats and time signatures to keep things
interesting. The mixes are excellent and boast nice production values where
you can take in the entirety of the mix, nothing is lost in the booth.
This is no triple A rookie, folks, this guys a real pro.
Give him a listen.......IUMA Review
