Evor is about community and the community spirit is a mindset I understand and desire.

As artists, we need support in so many ways--for me and for my band RIPE, the strength of Evor comes from the individuals that are the community members.

There's just so much creative, enjoyable music on this site. I think EVOR artists combine high quality musical material in writing, playing and singing, together with accessibility and commercial appeal; this is why my band loves being a member of the online community.

The Internet has become a forum for songwriters and businesses in all shapes and flavors. Some good, some GREAT and some plain nasty. I have found EvO:r to be the MOST consistent web site for really good information,editorials of excellence, great referrals for technical and musical support and in your face honesty about the business.

I have come to deeply respect your artists, your integrity and your hard work on behalf of the many musicians like myself who require a reputable forum in the unreputable world of music. Many thanks.

EvO:R members have the distinction of maintaining their individual identities while being a member of a great and exclusive cast. Each of us is allowed and encouraged to use every talent and skill we have to promote ourselves through EvO:R and, in turn, we use those same unique properties to bring attention to all of our members.

New ideas and a pioneering spirit in this volatile arena called the internet are always pondered and, more times than not, executed. Much of this is due to Charlie Harrelson, who has the foresight, open-mindedness and energy to take any new idea and run with it. EvO:R IS INFORMATION! Not the same rehashed crap that is not and never was any use to anyone, but real ‘hard truth’ information about the music biz and the pitfalls that lurk in the shadows. All too often, it seems that people don’t want to hear the truth. In my opinion those people should just go to one of the other music sites and give their money away for some book selling how tos and pipe dreams.

There’s, literally, almost a thousand years of experience, collectively, at EvO:R and it’s free. Logic tells me that getting the truth for free makes a lot more sense than giving ‘Joe Rockstar’ $199 for his new book ‘How to Make a Gazillion Dollars Playing Your Guitar.’

At EvO:R you can check out great artists and their music and learn from their experiences while you're at it, I haven’t seen another website where you can do that. Have you?
