Heart Strings

Irena Hart

About the Artist
This is Hart’s second release entitled “Heart Strings” released in 2011 and it certainly doesn’t disappoint.
This is one Connecticut artist that brings to the table effective songwriting coupled with a passionate vocal
delivery and amazing dance sound. Musical flavors presented: Contemporary Pop, Singer/Songwriter. Modern Dance.
The opening track "Heart Strings” sets the stage rather well for this CD. It was a melodic intro piece that
gently took me by the hand and stuck in my head and had me eager for what lied ahead. All in all the whole
CD is brilliantly delivered via Gold Standard Musicianship and an impressive vocal front (vocals and visuals).
Musical overtones reminded me a bit of Taylor Dane, Madonna, Alicia Keys. There are some fantastic pieces on
this CD which gives this musical production a polished and catchy vibe. Hart’s vocal presence works very well
track for track, and her band just grooves together. The beats and rhythmic sampling are perfect for this genera.
The meanings of these songs is pretty straight forward – but full of passion and priceless wisdom at the
same time. She clearly has all the singer/songwriter qualities needed to gravitate a fan base.
Favorite piece on the CD is a toss up between “Deeper Everyday” and “Nothing to Give You.”

Conclusion:
This CD will simply make your day a brighter place with songs of love and hope.
But they are like a drug and like the title implies it will tug on your heart
string with truthful and honest subject matter. The strong suit of Hart is clearly
her Euro sex appeal. At the end of the CD you will find yourself inspired,
invigorated and in the mood to open up your heart and let her in.
