Mastering - After all the songs have been mixed, they need to be edited into the final song order. EQ and Gain may need adjusting from song to song, to even out and tweak the over-all tone and loudness of the record. The space between songs are adjusted to reflect the mood of the song content. Mastering allows us to put that last bit of polish on the gem.
