KCCK
KCCK is a non-commercial, educational FM radio station operated by Kirkwood Community College. KCCK enriches the cultural environment of the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City Communities through a variety of on-air programs and community outreach activities. Many of these programs center on the promotion and preservation of jazz, America's only indigenous musical art form.
KCCK is Iowa's only jazz radio station. In addition to high-quality programs, KCCK takes jazz to the community through free concerts like Jazz Under the Stars and educational programs like Schoolhouse Jazz, Corridor Jazz Project and Middle School Jazz Band Camp.
KCCK's Iowa Channel, KCCK-HD-2, features all Iowa musicians.

KCSB
The radio station at the University of California, Santa Barbara, KCSB-FM, is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission to the Regents of the University of California. KCSB is funded primarily by the students at UCSB and the community at large.
As a non-commercial, educational FM station broadcasting for the public interest, KCSB enters into no commercial contracts which allow access to the airwaves and it strives to provide programming substantially different from that carried by commercial broadcast media. It is also designed to be educational for both programmers and listeners. UCSB students and other programmers are provided an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of radio broadcasting, both technically and in terms of broadcast content, and to explore more advanced aspects of broadcasting and the audio medium.
KCSB insures that these opportunities are offered to a diverse community, especially people who are traditionally underrepresented in broadcasting.
KUSF

WAKE
WFDD currently broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from a
60,000-watt tower in northern Davidson County and the studio in
Winston-Salem. WFDD is the Piedmont Triad’s only NPR station and
has a listening area covering 32 counties in North Carolina and
Virginia. A team of ten full-time employees, plus many part-time
employees and loyal volunteers staff the station.

WBFO
WBFO is the University at Buffalo’s window onto our community and the world, striving to create a public radio community of good neighbors. WBRS
WBRS is Brandeis University's noncommercial radio station,
broadcasting 25 watts at 100.1 FM in Waltham, Mass. We are a
24 hours a day, 365 days a year radio station. WBRS programming
supports an all-genre format, with a policy of playing everything
that gets sent to us.
WCBN
WCBN is the University of Michigan student-run community freeform radio station in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We broadcast at 200 watts to the University and its surrounding communities from the Basement of the Student Activities Building in downtown treetown. We are governed by our Constitution.
Our emphasis is on alternative broadcasting, that is, exposing our listenership to things they can't hear on other radio stations. For more information about what we play, check out our Programming Department.
WCBU
WCBU is Bradley University’s public radio station. Operating on 89.9 mHz, WCBU covers nearly 1 million residents of central Illinois, operating 24 hours a day with a blend of classical music, NPR News programs and popular entertainment items such as Prairie Home Companion, Car Talk and others.
WCBU2 is the station's digital service, offering more programs from NPR, PRI, APM, BBC and others. WCBU2 can be heard using new digital receivers, and on this web site.
In addition to offering a 24 hour schedule of quality radio, WCBU operates a Radio Information Service (RIS) providing readings of local, state and national publications to hundreds of people in the coverage area who are blind, visually impaired, or otherwise print handicapped over a special sub channel of the main signal. Radios equipped to pick up the special channel are made available free of charge to listeners who are in need of the service.
WCSB
WCSB is the student-run radio station of Cleveland State University , which has been broadcasting at 89.3FM since 1976. Our mission is to provide an alternative source of news and entertainment to our listening community.
WCSB features a wide variety of music programming such as blues noise, electronic jazz, eastern bloc punk, outlaw country and acid rap. We are also committed to programming news and information for the numerous ethnic communities represented by the Greater Cleveland area. We feature Latin, Hispanic, German, Hungarian, Polish, Irish, Macedonian, Arabic, and Slovenian programs. We also feature weekly public affairs programs ranging in subject matter from social justice to space exploration.
WDET
Detroit's News Station with Great Music on the Weekend
Public radio is independent media, an alternative to business or government-owned mass media. Providing programming unavailable on any other radio station in metropolitan Detroit, WDET 101.9 FM is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission to Wayne State University, owned and operated since 1952 to serve in the public interest. WDET’s growing audience reaches more than 150,000 listeners every week in southeast Michigan, northwest Ohio and southwest Ontario.
WDET is a community nonprofit institution, actively involved in the life of metro Detroit. The station is the area’s most active promoter of the area’s music and is today one of the few remaining providers of local news. In addition, WDET’s national and international programming offers the best in news, music, opinion and entertainment.
WRUV
WRUV 90.1 FM of Burlington, Vermont, strives to provide their listening audience with an eclectic mix of music. From Celtic, Country and Hip-Hop, to Electronic, Rockabilly, and Punk Rock, the station presents a veritable smorgasbord of musical genres as well as news and educational content.
The station follows a rule of originality; programming presented by 90.1 is unique. Often, the same programming cannot be heard anywhere else. For these reasons, we have dubbed WRUV 90.1 FM Burlington's Better Alternative.
Most importantly, WRUV affords the opportunity for community members and University of Vermont students to gain practical experience in the field of radio broadcasting.
