Frode Holm is a successful artist and songwriter from Oslo, Norway, who is currently enjoying life in California. Since moving to his new home town of Santa Barbara, he's been busy making new music, including creating this new project, FRODOCPU, which is now broadcast widely on the internet - tune in!

Frode initially got himself a name as a keyboardist on the Norwegian scene with a fusion band called "Vanessa", which recorded several albums and toured extensively in Scandinavia. His career as a singer started with a band called "Sgt. Salt" and he then had the good fortune to hook up with a major industry figure: Mario "The Big M" Medious (Emerson, Lake & Palmer, J. Geils Band ...). In the 80s, he secured a recording contract with Polygram Records in Norway, which launched the CPU band for the first time (then called "HolmCPU"). Unfortunately, it broke up a few years later and then.... ....eventually, he decided to start all over again, in the west somewhere. He ended up in Santa Barbara, California, and has stayed since - the TransAtlanticPacific Man^

We are a Power-Pop (or our idealistic Genre Namesake: Epic Gargage Pop!) Band in the Los Angeles area. Piano, Bass, Drums and Guitar. Four part harmonies (ala beach boys, queen, x.t.c. ect...) We play alot of crafty pop-rock songs but also improvise as well.

Prima Donna is a female fronted alternative pop-rock band from the Philadelphia area. The band features the impressive song writing/guitar playing of twin sisters Gina and Tina Cieri and the distinctive, sultry vocals of lead singer Debbie Kernan. Backed by the solid, driving rhythm section of Steve Wood on bass and David Wiesinger on drums.

Filling a void in today's music, Prima Donna is a band of substance. Derived from pure emotion, the music offers something old and something new. Old as in old school, the song comes first, everything is built around the song. New, as in it has a modern, edgy rock sound combined with hook oriented pop that is different enough to be called alternative. But this band doesn't wear their influences on their sleeves and these days, that's a good thing, a stand out from the rest.

The band boldly made their entry onto the indie music scene in 2003 with their first full length CD, "Not Having Fun." The CD has received rave reviews and has been played by over 200 college radio stations across the country charting in the top 10 on many including, WIIT, (Chicago, IL), and KAOS, (Olympia, WA). It's also receiving internet radio airplay and commercial radio airplay on WSTW in Delaware. Prima Donna continues to develop a reputation as an outstanding live act. With well thought out arrangements and intense presentations, their shows are always exciting. The band has captivated audiences playing notable venues including: the World Cafe Live, the North Star Bar, Puck and the Khyber in Philadelphia, Kenny's Castaways and the Baggott Inn in New York. The band has also performed at the International Pop Overthrow Festivals in Philadelphia and New York and the Dewey Beach Music Festival in Delaware..

Although I was born and raised in New Orleans, La., my songs are definitely NOT New Orleans-styled songs. My songs are geared towards mainstream America and the world. They're a blend of POP, DANCE, HIP HOP and R&B. I call my style POP HOP. Check it out!!!!
