The Imaginary Cookies
The Imaginary Cookie’s recipe calls for one part Rock n’ Roll, one part theatrics, and one part reality suspension. The goal really is to make a show that surpasses all other regional shows within the budget of an unsigned act. The steady decline of local attention on artists COULD be the fact that there are so many and only half put together a tight show… The Imaginary Cookies does not play for money alone. Natalee, lead vocalist of BLaK SHeeP, is now a solo artist. She has set up her own studio at home, so now as well as writing and singing, she can produce her own material from start to finish. The set up is pretty basic, Cakewalk Home Studio XL installed on the pc, a Roland PC-300 midi controller and a 10 track mixer, but it works! "I have always been a very independent person, and it was really inevitable that I would take the solo route. It is important to me to be able to have complete control over my music, so setting up the studio has been the best decision I have made" Natalee´has just completed her first song in her new studio, check out "U Don´t Know". Sweetchuck are four young, exuberant fools who believe they have the talent to stand out and achive succses in an ultra competitive saturated musical environment. Welcome to Sacramento's newest upcoming band . Difool! If you haven't heard them yet, just check them out live or listen to their music . You'll be able to say "I saw them back when the were playing at Big-Hole-Nancy's Bistro (name changed to protect the innocent). The band is made up of Brian (vocals), Matt (guitar), Thierry (bass), and Dave (drums). We write mostly on acoustc guitars and percussions, and sometimes transpose to full electric. We have a pretty good following, and want to make it on our own, our music is somewhat hard to catagorize, because we never really do the same thing, some songs would be classic rock, some grunge, some gothic, middle eastern medatative, improv, jam oriented, pop, slacker, classical, we use any instrument and anything that makes noise. We are artisits as well, matt is a painter, david is a writer, sandbox a computer something, michael an artist, caitlin an artist, ag a videographer, and the list goes on, and on...
