Instar
Karl Von Kriesstarted musical career by playing flute in the third grade. In a desperate attempt to increase his street-cred, the next decade saw him add bass, keyboards, guitar, and other instruments to his repertoire. He also built synthesizers. Von Kries started playing live in the thriving Amherst Massachusetts music scene which spawned the Pixies, Dinosaur Jr. and Sebadoh. Karl played in a host of long gone Valley bands like Frog Nebula, Darwin, the Just Assassins, and more - developing a mutated style that merged indie power pop, grunge, elctro-folk, and metal.

Zorro
Zorro rocks. Full Stop. They invested hours and hours in experimenting - in search for a big, powerful sound, something not easily achieved as a trio. The first proof of what zorro are capable of, is their first 6-track demo 1st race. The demo was recorded live in their practice room. Vocals and guitar solos were the only overdubs, whereas a great deal of attention was made to make them sound live and raw. Guitar-rockband from Basel (Switzerland)

Obsidian Reign are a truly dynamic Canadian metal band. With aggressiveness, power, and melody, this quintet is unafraid to take risks. Their songwriting creatively encompasses thrash, black, power, and prog elements.

an-tith-e-sis (Pronunciation: an-'ti-th&-s&s)- is at the forefront of a quietly seething movement that is all but ready to boil over.� (Metal Mainacs, February 2000, p. 22) Leif Kringen of Scream Magazine/Norway adds, "Antithesis may very well be the band to lift up the heritage bestowed upon them from other Cleveland greats (Breaker, Shok Paris, and Destructor) of the eighties." Antithesis was also voted one of the best unsigned bands of 1999 by Aardshok Magazine (Holland), the "Bible" of heavy metal.

With the release of ....From Dirt We Come, produced by Dez from Coal Chamber (now DEVIL DRIVER) the band gained national notoriety and set off to tour the continental US. Standing Damage
Southern, gothic, metal whatever you may call it, Standing Damaged is a four piece band from Northern Alabama hard to describe with few words. Their first release entitled "Nowhere" sold hundreds of copies after hitting local stores on October 13th, 2000. Later in December WRLR, Rocket 95.1, out of Huntsville, Alabama put the first track, "Thirsty" in a contest that let the listeners vote on two songs. The song went out undefeated, kicking the major record labeled assess of bands like Union Underground(175 to 3 votes) and Taproot(142 to ZERO votes).
