The Dark Poets have been an entity since 2001. From this Period numerous recordings have been made and have found their way into the public domain. These have either been as limited CD runs/dublates, or have been made available by us or leaked in some form over the internet. To fully list this output would mean delving into a long and tedious list of obscure track names and long forgotten curiosities... the past is the past, we hope you enjoyed it.

Little Baby Dynamite

Drawn together in 2002, they have quickly become a crowd favorite in their hometown of Columbia, SC, playing such popular venues as the New Brookland Tavern, the Lettuce Lounge, Sundance Grill, and the Blue Martini. Their sound is most commonly described as alterna-goth-rock, a result of their combined influences: heavy metal, jazz, techno-industrial, and emo.

"The level of musicianship in this band is astounding," remarked Char at an early rehearsal, and he was right. Two of the members are recording engineers, two hold music degrees, and all four have played or recorded at the national level. The band's music can loosely be identified as "alternative", but with the members' influences ranging the spectrum from Poe to Failure, Tool to Front 242, it may be a new classification of rock.

Jamison Young

Elements of techno, bright and jazzy trumpet- Chris Isaac meets Pink Floyd vocals, subtle yet intricate guitar work, and unbelievable rhythms, all in a mixture that comes across smooth yet engaging.

Higgs Boson and the Strange Charm are an independant band from Australia. A five piece band playing music based around the new sciences -subatomics, cosmology, genetics, robotics..... They have just released a single addicted2science and will be releasing an album in 2012.
