Nobody Records is an open minded indie label with a current focus on Halloween soundscapes and songs. The label "sound" is Heavey Mellow - a term coined form the mopehead stuff. Nobody Records is the record label for the band Rain Station, and solo artists, Mitch, mopehead, Beth Eyre, as well as many more fine artists. They also are huge supporters of Halloween Music and produce and distribute a special Halloween compilation CD every year!

hyperdisc records, located in sunny Santa Monica California, is the brainchild of acclaimed producer and composer Daisuke Hinata. The label was founded by Hinata, his American partner Jonathan Platt and his Japanese partners Setsuko Yamashiro, Shinnosuke Sorimachi, and Takao Nanjo. In November 1995, after starting the record label they opened a record store and coffee shop on Santa Monica's busy Main street, and produced an album called The Sounds of Santa Monica, as a tribute and promotional tool for their new home. hyperdisc has been a thriving source of the best in local and international music ever since.

> Kill Rock Stars
Kill Rock Stars is an independent record label founded in 1991 by Slim Moon and based in Olympia, WA. Originally intended to release spoken word seven inches under the "wordcore" moniker, it quickly expanded to become a punk rock rock and roll label thru the release of a compilation, some rock seven inches, and albums and EPs. Unlike all major labels and many indie labels, profit is not our primary motivation. Kill Rock Stars is dedicated to releasing high quality meaningful recordings in a manner that is fair and respectful to the artists. The system that makes rock stars wants us to believe that we have no choices except the handful they give us but they don't even bother to give us good choices, just lame ones.

Jade Tree took shape and started to release records. In 1992, Jade Tree was very fortunate to cross paths with the folks at the highly regarded independent distributor Mordam Records. With the release of our 4th record, Swiz's "With Dave" 7", Jade Tree was picked up by Mordam to be exclusively distributed worldwide. 10 years, and 54 releases later, we have seen Jade Tree expand more then they had ever expected. With no signs of slowing down, you can bet we will be cranking out records well into the next millennium.

Agent Records is an indie label from Northern California specializing in awesome music that doesn't sound like everyone else. It is also home to the infamous NorCal Compilation series.

> Matador Records
MES started in late 1994 in Baltimore. Roby and Jeffrey were collaborating on four-track recordings under the name "Half Calf" (as a side-project to Roby's band Big Heifer) and we decided to ask some friends of ours to contribute some songs to do a compilation single for the hell of it. The ideas kept growing and we decided to do a series of comps with all the material being "different" stuff than what the artist's normally recorded (such as acoustic stuff, side-projects, new collaborations, etc). As the years progressed, we started releasing full-length records and CDs, but kept the "Singles" surname because we felt like it. By the way, a "Magic Eye" is a type of tube sometimes found in old amps and recording equipment - there was one of these tubes in the reel to reel machine that we used for the initial Half Calf recordings.
