The Chop Tops sound is up-beat, frantic rock 'n' roll
music. The Chop Tops influences range from roots rockabilly to old school
punk rock. Their songs vary from stomping roots rockabilly, scorching
surf instrumentals (with a wicked western twist all their own), to
adapted classic punk covers. The band has coined the phrase "Revved-
up Rockabilly" to describe their unique blend of Rockaiblly, Psychobilly,
& Punk music!
Revved up Rockabilly with Psychobilly undertones

Review by Dave Goulding, Warwickshire, England, originally appeared in Now Dig This magazine.
This CD is absolutely fantastic! Every track is killer rock'n'roll, sung and played as it should be, with passion and conviction by a master who has honed and perfected his craft over the past 50 years. I recommend that all lovers of real rock'n'roll listen to this CD at the earliest opportunity.
Great CD! Rockabilly Revival CDs can sometimes be a mixed bag, but I'm happy to say that this is feel good music. 1957 Blue Suede Shoes will make you feel like it's 1957 again and Billy, Look At What You Did To Me is a heart ponding rocker! If there is any justice in the world, this would be a Top Ten Record today.

Ain't No Kinda Blue
by Black Bottom Biscuits
Our Price: $15.00 CD / $9.99 MP3 Album Download
Usually ships in 1-2 days
Some folks might call it "Americana"- we call our blend of old-school country, bluegrass & rockabilly "Music with country heart and a Southern Soul".
In a world of dim stars and plastic parts, the Black Bottom Biscuits shine like a rhinestone-studded Cadillac sparkling under a honkytonk moon.
Recognized as one of the hardest-working bands in South Carolina, the Biscuits fuse old-time country and rockabilly into their own unique,
crowd-pleasing sound.
Since 2002, the band has performed
throughout the Southeast at venues ranging from festival and concert stages to barbecue joints and honkytonks

Blue Black Hair
by The Del Moroccos
Our Price: $14.99 CD
Usually ships in 1-2 days
Fronted by three female singers, this eight member band is blurring the lines between 50's rockabilly and early 60's soul. It's a perfect Quentin Tarantino rock'n'roll soundtrack.
Knock the Ray-ettes, Bo Diddley and Link Wray together, with a blast of garage, a hit of late '50s black rock n' roll, dress 'em up like Johnny Cash,
and you get a raucous, mean mix of "Soulful 50s garage". A perfect Quentin Tarantino soundtrack! The members are veteran Chicago musicians from the
rockabilly, surf, ska, jazz and R & B scenes, from bands including: Mighty Blue Kings, Jimmy Sutton's Four Charms, Deals Gone Bad, Cave Catt Sammy,
Andrew Bird, Kevin O'Donnell's Quality 6, and Deke Dickerson and The Ecco-Fonics.
The Del Moroccos lead guitar player Jimmy Sutton, hand picked the line up for this killer new band.

13 to Life
by Bone Rattlers
Our Price: $16.97 CD / $10.99 MP3 Album Download
Usually ships in 1-2 days
Released in July 2009, this album delivers tracks that will appeal to anyone from old school greasers to young punks. There's tracks of murder, mayhem and madness to rockin good times and some about the more common dealings of everyday life. Played with an emphasis on dirty guitar and high energy, mixed with some good old rockabilly riffs this album will smack you in the face with 13 Bone Rattlin' tracks!
The Bone Rattlers have done it again with 13 superb original tracks, every one different from the rest in the Rockabilly / Psychobilly genre. How refreshing to see a band gutsy enough to fill the whole album with original material . A great album sleeve to go with it and if Danny is not one of the best song writers in the world in this genre, I'll eat his drum kit, dice and all. If you don't add this one to your collection, it will never be complete.

Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Alt/Country with a punk/DIY twist. Jeannette's amazing vocals will suck you in and what she says will keep you there wanting more. Pure talent, a true artist, the real deal here. For fans of the Horrorpops, Creepshow, Mazzy Star
Her album has hardly been off my car stereo! She paints a sublime and evocative picture with her music. Her lyrics are of a Springsteenian level and its amazing to find out all this comes from one person! Just buy it....you know you want to!

Hi, I'm Elvis Bossa Nova!
by Elvis Bossa Nova
Our Price: $14.99 CD / $7.92 MP3 Album Download
Usually ships in 1-2 days
Elvis Bossa Nova! began as an experiment. The idea was to re-imagine classic Elvis tunes with an eclectic instrumentation, and an interesting mix of musical personalities. They blend the rock, jazz, latin, bluegrass, country, classical and improv musical traditions. Did anyone mention it's all Elvis?
Some of the songs are instantly recognizable, while others have the king hiding out somewhere around the corner with the rest of the surprises. On the tour of Graceland they don't let you see the upstairs of the house. This band knows what's up there.
The result of this experiment has been a fluid, dynamic mish-mash of various musical styles. It's new life breathed into some classic music, and above all else an exciting live show.
The unique instrumentation of vibraphone, electric guitar, percussion, drums and bass provides a rich palette of places for the group to navigate. Their ability to embrace the moment, and constantly search for new sounds always creates a palpable energy keeping audiences on the edge of their seat or the tips of their toes.

Rock 'n Roll Time Capsule
by Sweet Mikey C
Our Price: $19.95 CD / $9.99 MP3 Album Download
Usually ships in 1-2 days
I started this project in 1990 with guitarist Danny Gatton, drummer Shannon Ford, bassist John Previti, and piano and sax man Bill Holloman.
We gathered at Big Mo Studios with Ed Eastridge at the controls. We cut five oldies in one day and vowed to come back and do it again.
The next year we did it again, this time cutting six original songs I had written with various writers in Nashville. In November of '94
we were all going back to Big Mo to cut 15 more tunes, some oldies, some originals.
Danny died in October. I put the project on the shelf for a number of years, but then decided to finish what we had begun. This time,
Shannon, John, Bill and I met at Seventeen Grand Studios in Nashville to cut the 15 sides we were going to record with Danny. We got
Johnny Hiland and Arlen Roth to play guitars, and Vicki Hampton to sing background vocals. Dave Cline engineered with Michael Teaney
as his assistant. Scotty Moore played guitar on ' That's All Right ', along with Bob Moore on bass and Bucky Barrett on rhythym guitar.
The Jordanaires then came in and sang on ' Got A Lot of Livin' To Do ' and ' When My Blue Moon Turns To Gold Again '.
' Rock 'n Roll Time Capsule ' has been a dream of mine for a long time, and now it's ready for you.
You better tighten your skates,
' cause this baby moves right along. Best Wishes, and Rock On!!!

Spot in the Corner
by Steve Carlson
Our Price: $12.97 CD / $9.99 MP3 Album Download
Usually ships in 1-2 days
Steve Carlson is a seasoned musician who has lived life and written parables that are almost visual. His own dynamic, combined with that of his collaborators, creates a presentation that brings stories to life." - Music Connection 2005
Born and raised in Southern California, Carlson had a bohemian upbringing in an artistic family. He developed an appreciation for music early on and at the age of ten he began writing songs, playing guitar and eventually found himself performing in local bands throughout high school. A fan of artists that include many genres, Steve credits The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Taj Mahal, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Eagles, Van Morrison, Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones as some of his biggest influences.
"Like a lot of the classic artists we've known and loved, Steve Carlson's ensemble does what rock & roll did in the Fifties... Funk, blues, rockabilly and country, all wind up in the mix"- Music Connection

Mix in a classic duet, ‘Time’s A Wastin’, with a slice of steel guitar... shake well and serve in a cool glass... and if they all turn out like this, keep ‘em coming!!!

Hold it Fellas / Stomp Stomp
by The Modern Sounds
Our Price: $16.97 CD
Usually ships in 1-2 days
New two CD set. Hot jazz, western swing, rockabilly, classic blues and everything in between. The Modern Sounds are on the cutting edge of the Atomic Age—bringing you the best of the 30's, 40's and 50's.
“Clearly, the members of Modern Sounds were being ironic when choosing a band name. The trio sounds like a holdover from an era when Willie Mays still roamed the outfield and school desks doubled as bomb shelters. The Sounds allow Paterson to test the limits of his guitar...Paterson bends and folds notes as though his instrument were made of molten steel.” – Andy Downing, Chicago Tribune
