Thirty years later, I like the newest album as much if not more than their seventies catalog. The new album is outstanding, and a primer for other bands in learning what these men already know - how to please the audience while pleasing themselves in writing great music. This is a superb listen. Buy it !

In early 2005, a new band was formed that consisted of five
“Original-Era” members of the legendary southern rockers Molly Hatchet. Included were Bruce Crump (drums), Duane Roland (guitar), Steve Holland (guitar), Jimmy Farrar (vocals) and Riff West (bass). These talented musicians wrote and recorded all of Molly Hatchet’s gold and multi-platinum albums. Unquestionably, the members of GATOR COUNTRY were very instrumental in forging the legend of their earlier classic band’s sound with such songs as Flirtin’ With Disaster, Gator Country, Bounty Hunter, Whiskey Man, Beatin’ The Odds, Dreams I’ll Never See and many others.
I'm not getting involved in the who is the 'real' MH as it is disrespectful to Bobby who has kept the name alive. I saw them in London a couple of years ago and they kicked ass! There's room for both bands as there is quality in both. This is a good CD. The more MH,in whatever guise, the better as far as I'm concerned.

Two B's Please was released in 1980 and sold 200,000 copies. it includes Sweet Virginia Breeze, a song that is considered the unofficial state song of Virginia.
The songs Brite Eyes, Candyapple Red, and Sweet Virginia Breeze were regional (southeast) hits.
Background vocals on the majority of the disc are performed by eagles bassist Timothy B. Schmit and Firefall's Rick Roberts.
I remenber seeing Robbin at the Boat House in Norfolk many times back in the day & am looking forward to seeing him in Williamsburg later this month. Please let me know when "Since Grade School" will be available. Would love to have also!
Brite Eyes was in the billboard magazine top 60 at the time of it's release on vinyl.

Richie Kotzen has an amazing ability to create projects that awe critics and inspire aspiring musicans, especially guitarists. The rocker has done it again with the release of his new CD, Peace Sign!
I love Richie's voice and guitar work but am a little dissappointed in this album. It's definitely a softer side in both lyrics (a bit whiney and repetitive in some songs) and delivery. I really hoped for a more of a Forty Duece record... I look forward to buying that as soon as it's out!
