Rock X-ing
by The Other Side
Our Price: $12.97 CD / $9.99 MP3 Album Download
Usually ships in 1-2 days
Together from 1967 to 1980 (and recently reformed for special occasions), The Other Side continues to be Eastern Pennsylvania’s most famous and successful band. During its heyday, the band played before nearly a million fans in clubs, colleges, concerts and festivals up and down the Eastern Seaboard. The Other Side has always represented not only great music but fun, entertaining their audience in a way that other bands, although perhaps more musically competent, just don’t do. This has earned the band a fan base that is still rabid more than 25 years after the band’s end and the reason for the release of the “Anthology 1969 – 1977” CD.

Let's Keep Love Alive
by Dallas Taylor and the Taylor Neely Band
Our Price: $12.97 CD
Usually ships in 1-2 days
Dallas Woodrow Taylor, Jr. was born in Denver Colorado in 1948 and grew up in San Antonio, Texas. At the age of ten Dallas's Mom took him to see the Gene Krupa story.
Dallas knew then that he wanted to be a drummer. As a youth, Dallas played around many small Texas towns playing with the local bands and developing his famous style.
In 1967, Dallas moved to Los Angeles with his band Clear Light.
There he found himself among Rock's Royalty. John Sebastian introduced Dallas to Stephen Stills. The Buffalo Springfield had just dissolved and Stills was at
a lost for musical direction. As Crosby, Stills, and Nash started to evolve, they asked Dallas to round out their recordings by joining in on drums. It was a
match made in heaven and they recorded their first record. After many more albums, Dallas and Stills conceptualized a big band sound and thus was born Manassas.
After many gold records and many tours, Dallas and Stills went their separate ways. There were many years of pain and struggle ahead, as well as more than
a few life and death moments. Somehow through it at all, Dallas and his music have survived. 35 years after arriving in Los Angeles the former
“Prisoner of Woodstock” has now begun a new life and another journey. Through his Intervention work with recovering addicts both inside and outside
of the music business, Dallas has helped give back to the community which has given him so much.

Rock and Roll Madness
by Grits Band
Our Price: $15.00 CD
Usually ships in 1-2 days
The art-rock band Grits was active in the DC area from 1970 through 1978. Previous releases from Grits are "As the World Grits", and "Rare Birds", both out of print.
These tracks date from the final years of the band, recorded at DC's premier studio, Track Recorders, instead of using the band's own setup. Mostly straight songs, the final cut is a longer work with three main sections.
All cuts are vocal, with the band's bass player, Amy Taylor, singing on all but the title cut, sung by drummer Bob Sims. Rick Barse composed all the songs and played keyboards. He, Bob, and Tom Wright on guitar, added background vocals

Take a look on the inside
by Orange
Our Price: $12.00 CD
Usually ships in 1-2 days
The music of Orange is odd and remarkable, but still very recognisable. Lyrically they walk a fine line between commercial hooks and political statements. The songs are about such varied subjects as political issues of today, existential angst and good old-fashioned love; everything delivered with complete self-assurance and ease.
"Take a look on the inside" consists of 12 songs and every one of them could be elected for "single"-treatment.
Carefully produced and performed with edge and presence, Orange's debut album will dash anyone with musical appetite and curiosity. It's a well-crafted album whose genius is not revealed until you hear it the second time? It could be said that Orange have accomplished what John Lennon tried so hard to explain to a very frustrated George Martin when he said; "I want it to sound like an orange!"

Storm
by Wind
Our Price: $15.00 CD
Usually ships in 1-2 days
"Refreshing" is the word most often used to describe the music of WIND. WIND actually consists of Nori & Barbie Kelley (currently residing in Florence, Colorado), and whoever happens to be playing with them at the time. Being songwiters as well as musicians, they have a wealth of original material between them. Their concerts showcase both their songwriting and musical abilities, with Barbie singing, playing flute, percussion & acoustic guitar, and Nori singing and playing electric and acoustic guitars & lap steel. Married since 1993, Nori and Barbie also own and operate The Studio, a digital multi-track project studio, where they record local artists and teach guitar, flute & dance. They're also listed in the Encyclopedia Of Contemporary Christian Music, published in 2003.
Born in Japan, but raised in Alabama from age 9, Nori has been a session musician since 1979. He has recorded or performed with Jon Anderson (Yes), Dave Hope (Kansas), the Chi-Lites & The Couriers (w/ Michael English), among many others. CCM magazine once compared his guitar playing to both Mark Knopfler and Phil Keaggy. Nori has two projects released internationally by Mel Bay, "Basic Guitar Strumming & Fingerpicking" and "Modern Guitar Method Grade 1 Pop Version CD," both of which are best sellers. Barbie hails from the Wilmington, Delaware area and comes from a large, musicial family. She has been playing the flute since age 9, and plays percussion and guitar as well. She has played & sung on many recording sessions. Her voice has a pleasant, almost Celtic-like quality, and has been compared by some to Natalie Merchant. Audiences love her flute playing, and WINDs flute and guitar combination achieves some nice results.

“The most underrated band to ever hit a Rock n’ Roll stage! Showmanship, sleezy, thoughtful lyrics and musical prowess makes this band a true Rock n’ Roll underground legend that true idols are cut from. If you missed them the first time around, well, attention shoppers, you better pay attention now!” – Rikki Rockett/Poison
“1976 had Aerosmith, and yeah, it had Kiss, but back then this was new and only I had them. Starz was dirty Rock n’ Roll, where every teenager hangs – suspended between great rock beats and pop melodies from hell – Starz was Motley Crue before Motley Crue!” – Nikki Sixx/Motley Crue
