Damn, It Feels Good To Be a Cowboy!
by George Lee, Jr. & the Crazed Cowboys
    Our Price: $10.00 CD / $8.99 MP3 Album Download
    Usually ships in 1-2 days
We just released our second CD, titled 'Damn, It Feels Good To Be A Cowboy!' We had a blast making that record; we even did a Crazed cover of the song 'If I Only Had A Brain,' from the Wizard Of Oz. The whole album turned out great, he said, with all due modesty. Our Crazed manager, Paula Bright, better known to us as Crazy Miz B, has been doing a dynamite job promoting us on the web, and we're getting great airplay. Our local gig schedule is full, and things are looking good. We're hard at work on Album 3 already. I just finished a dynamite cover of Mott The Hoople's 'All The Way From Memphis.' Other than that, you know: Same old same old.
George Strait Meets the Beatles gone country, and man---they're jammin like hell.

      Welcome to Hip Hop Country!!
by George Lee, Jr. & the Crazed Cowboys
    Our Price: $12.00 CD / $8.99 MP3 Album Download
    Usually ships in 1-2 days
The Crazed Cowboys play country -- different. They combine the heart and humor of traditional country music with the pounding excitement of great rock'n'roll. Throw in a dash of hip hop fun, turn on the blender, and start the party. Whiners will be turned away at the door. They play to laugh, get crazy and show you a good time. A combination of tough country picking and drumming with some o' those millennium-type street beats mixed in.

Their Indian Priest guru calls it "in your face rappin rhythm and rapid repartee wrapped in country swing." It's contemporary country - unbound. Wherever there's an ear to listen, a toe to tap, a foot to stomp, a boot to scoot--The Cowboys will be there!
George Strait meets the Beatles gone country at a hip hop rave

      Tuscola
      by Nathan Hamilton
Our Price: $9.99 MP3 Album Download
    Usually ships in 1-2 days
Singer songwriter Nathan Hamilton's self-produced debut release TUSCOLA, is a rich Texas country, folk and rock hybrid. It paints a picture of travels through panhandle dust storms, roadside bars, farms, bedrooms, small country churches and the imagination of a child. The songs vividly reveal passionate, dangerous, endearing and broken-hearted characters.

Tom Geddie of Buddy Magazine writes,"TUSCOLA is one of those near perfect Americana gems we stumble across in the dirt, not knowing what we've tripped over until we pick it up and wipe it clean.
Texas blend of country, folk and roots rock that is steeped in the storytelling tradition.

      All For Love And Wages
      by Nathan Hamilton
Our Price: $9.99 MP3 Album Download
    Usually ships in 1-2 days
When people ask Hamilton what he does for a living, he usually says "musician." That's a pretty modest claim for a guy who won the prestigious Kerrville New Folk award in 2000, putting him in the company of past winners like Slaid Cleaves, Steve Earle, Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen. Tuscola, his 1999 solo debut, launched two charting Americana radio singles ("Cash & Tobacco" and "Spent") and garnered an almost embarrassing amount of critical praise.

"Full of haunting images and evocative emotions," wrote Chris Riemenschneider of the Austin American-Statesman, while Christopher Hess of the Austin Chronicle hailed the album as "a strong series of country-folk tunes that establish Hamilton as a local voice to be reckoned with."
Singer/songwriter,roots rock with a strong lyrical sense, steeped in the storytelling tradition.

      Live In Central Park
      by Willie Nile
    Our Price: $9.99 CD / $4.99 MP3 Album Download
    Usually ships in 1-2 days
Willie Nile and his band took Central Park by storm, running through their set and mainstays Vagabond Moon, It's All Over and Dear Lord. This show was right around the time the band opened a leg of The Who tour so they were in fine form.

Live in Central Park shows the energetic show that the band put on during their historic Central Park show.

      Stranded
      by Matthew Price
    Our Price: $11.97 CD / $9.99 MP3 Album Download
    Usually ships in 1-2 days
Matthew Price describes his music as freewheeling folk rock. He combines vivid, authentic stories with rhythmic, contagious melodies to offer listeners songs that they will never forget. Imagine Jack Johnson meets John Prine. The album was produced by Rob Stroup of 8 Ball Studios in Portland, Oregon. Matthew and Rob brought in some of the finest musicians in the Northwest to participate on the album. Credits include Tony Furtado, Skip Von Kuske, Drew Shoals, and Arthur Parker, among others. The seven song EP that resulted is a breathtakingly beautiful and tasteful representation of the music. Instrumentation includes, upright bass, acoustic drums, piano, Hammond B3 organ, dobro, cello, pedal steel, acoustic and electric guitar, electric slide, and rich harmonies.

There is no filler on this album; just seven of Matthew’s best songs, period.
Freewheeling Folk Rock. Genuine acoustic songs with lyrics and harmonies that become part of your life.

      Nation of Heat EP
      by Joe Pug
    Our Price: $10.00 CD / $7.00 MP3 Album Download
    Usually ships in 1-2 days
After three years at University of North Carolina studying to be a playwright, Joe Pug had a bit of an epiphany. Literally on the way to buy his books for his senior year, he sat down for a cup of coffee and made a decision that would alter his life forever. By the next day he had formally dropped out of school and was on his way to Chicago, where he would pick up the guitar he played as a teenager and try his hand at songwriting. Like his father, he spent his days working as a carpenter. At night the 23 year old was busy crafting the complex, literate and timeless songs that would come to be the Nation of Heat EP. By half way through the opening track, the stunning "Hymn #101" it is apparent that he is a talent that holds his own with the best young songwriters working today.
Thoughtful, literate singer/songwriter in the tradition of John Prine, Josh Ritter and Bob Dylan.

      What The Crow Brings
      by The Low Anthem
    Our Price: $14.97 CD / $9.99 MP3 Album Download
    Usually ships in 1-2 days
Without a doubt, this album gives my brain more room to breathe than anything else I've heard in a long time. The lyrics saunter up as a comfortable cadence of ideas that are beautifully human and patient in the face of time. The Low Anthem's earlier, self titled release felt like a soundtrack to a movie not yet written. "What The Crow Brings" feels like a compelling call to hold close what is dear to you while having a chuckle at the fact that life is short because "we are only for a while....."
New songs that come from old songs. Vibe. Providence, RI. Typewriters. Folk art. Corn-dogs. Gospel influence. Feng shui. Not entirely jaded yet: music that really is music, not an advertisement. Imagine that. Word of mouth.

      I Can't Die In LA
      by Hail The Size
    Our Price: $12.97 CD / $9.99 MP3 Album Download
    Usually ships in 1-2 days
UK's BEAT SURRENDER writes: Hail The Size are LA based Charles Ezell and Matt North, who enlisted a "small cast of local friends and musicians" and the vocal and piano talents of Maria McKee, the former lead singer of Lone Justice who duets on three tracks and added piano to seven of the albums ten listed tracks, all the songs are originals mixing clever lyrics, dark humour and some healthy cynicism - wrapping them up in Ezell's convincing vocal.
"Now that's a good record." Steve Earle, Air America Radio. Americana Rock featuring Maria McKee.
