Dream Theater CD's and DVD's on EvO:R
Dream Theater has become a successful progressive metal band. Although the band has had one successful hit
("Pull Me Under" in 1992, which received extensive MTV rotation), they have remained relatively out of the mainstream.
The band is well known for the technical proficiency of its instrumentalists, who have won many awards from music
instruction magazines. Dream Theater's members have collaborated with many other notable musicians. Guitarist John
Petrucci has been named as the third player on the G3 tour six times, more than any other invited guitarist,
following in the footsteps of Eric Johnson and Robert Fripp.
The band's highest selling album is the gold selling Images and Words (1992), which reached #61 on the Billboard
200 charts. Both the 1994 release Awake and their 2002 release Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence also entered the
charts at #32 and #46 respectively and received mostly positive reviews. Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence also led
to Dream Theater becoming the initial band reviewed in the Music Section of Entertainment Weekly during its
opening week of release, despite the magazine generally preferring more mainstream music. In 2007, Systematic
Chaos entered US Billboard 200 at #19. Dream Theater has sold over two million albums in the U.S., and
over 8 million records worldwide. The band's tenth studio album, Black Clouds & Silver Linings, was
released on June 23, 2009. It entered the US Billboard 200 at #6 and Eurochart Hot 100 at #1, marking
their highest entry on either chart.

This 2-DVD set features a concert taped on April 26, 2004, at the famed Budokan in Tokyo, Japan.
Disc One is the complete live concert. Disc two is packed with special features including a Japanese tour documentary,

To mark their 20th anniversary, Dream Theater embarked on a 20th Anniversary Tour -
this DVD features the grand finale concert of that tour, recorded live at Radio City Music Hall on April 1, 2006.
The 2-disc DVD titled SCORE includes the entire show, nearly 3 hours of music - over 90 minutes
performed with a full orchestra. It shows highlight performances like I Walk Beside You and The Answer Lies Within
along with previously unreleased songs "Another Won and Raise The Knife and much more. The DVD also contains a
one-hour documentary tracking the entire career of the band.

Recorded at Bear Tracks Studio, Suffern, New York in May 1995 and live at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club,
London, England on January 31, 1995. Includes liner notes by Dream Theater.
This DVD, titled Metropolis 2000: Scenes From New York features Dream Theater's live performance from New York's
Roseland Ballroom on August 30, 2000, as directed by drummer Mike Portnoy. This video captures on film the band's theatricality
and raw, unbridled live prowess. The DVD features over 1 hour of bonus live material, including the only live release of the 26
minute epic "A Change Of Seasons," not included in the VHS version, also audio commentary by the band, behind-the-scenes
documentary footage and a Metropolis 2000 World Tour photo gallery.
