90's Music CDs : Top Sellers

Look What's Left CD
by Wampeters
Our Price: $11.39 CD
Usually ships in 1-2 days
This disc glorified '60s melodicism at the height of grunge. It recalled the pathos of the
Byrds at the zenith of a renaissance in neo-garage rock.
Strange timing. Hear "Weeping Willow,"
"Rope and Knot," and "Days of Beer and Daisies," and wonder why you haven't
before.

No More Waiting CD
by Drew Vics
Our Price: $7.49 CD
Usually ships in 1-2 days
No More Waiting is a self-produced CD release from Drew Vics, a New Jersey based singer/songwriter.
Drew has been writing and recording since the early 90's. No More Waiting marks the first collection of
songs made available on CD or for download to a wider audience through CDBaby. No More Waiting was recorded
and produced in a digital home studio, with two other musicians sitting in on a couple of the tracks. Many
of the songs are reminiscent of artists like Tom Petty and Fastball (some have even said Blues Traveler),
but with a distinct blend of country and rock similar to Keith Urban, and a progressive edge which lends
an original, dynamic quality to catchy melodies and clever, poignant lyrics.
Drew performs guitars, bass,
keyboards, percussion and vocals, and also arranged and programmed the drum sequences.
Additional keyboard and piano work appears on the tracks Far Away and Sorry, performed
by Drew's long-time friend and musical collaborator John Frawley. Guitarist Jay Baney sits
in on some rhythm and lead work in the track So Right.Drew's songs have appeared on radio,
a northern New Jersey compilation entitled Local Color, and on various podcasts online.
He is working on new material for a future CD release. Date is yet to be determined.

Wu CD
by Michael Wu
Our Price: $12.69
Usually ships in 1-2 days
REM. David Gray. Sting. U2. And even America - these are the groups that fans have
said Michael Wu's music sounds similar to. Yet, people who have known him for years
can still hear Steve Harris (Iron Maiden) or Geddy Lee (Rush) somewhere in the bass lines.
Michael's debut has strong roots in progressive rock, as well as intelligent pop music.
It is a refreshing mix of creative lyrics and memorable compositions.
His debut solo CD combines
creative vocal melodies and progressive twists with modern rock structures.Released in December
of 2002, Michael's debut solo album, "Wu", represented a first for a couple of things: he wrote
all the music and lyrics, and performed the guitar as well as his main gig, bass. His music
ended up being a cross between his early influences in progressive music, and his delve into
pop / singer-songwriter styles.Michael lives in upstate NY where he works for the Lockheed
Martin Corporation during the day.
When he's not at his day gig, he's working on tunes, playing
with his children, and watching baseball.

Dream Of Having A Side Salad CD
by Stalking Elephants
Our Price: $10.15
Usually ships in 1-2 days
Stalking Elephants is a unique collaboration of two individuals who live on opposite ends of
the USA. Roger Brandon now resides in the mountains of North Carolina, while Tets lives in
a Hawaii beach town. After meeting at the University of Hawaii in 1995, where both Tets and
Roger completed their Master's degree, the two recorded a demo album under the name "Happy House".
This album was released on a very limited basis and was intended as more of a gift for friends.
The two stayed in touch after Brandon returned to the mainland and they eventually decided to move
forward with a follow-up album that would be released on a wider basis. The only problem was the
distance factor. However, with advances in technology such as DigiDesign's Protools, CD burners,
and the ever improving internet, the two found no problem recording together despite the fact that
they lived thousands of miles apart. In fact, the two were not even in the same room for even one
second of recording, mixing, or mastering on the album. The result is "Dream of Having a Side Salad",
an album featuring a blend of styles and influences that draws from beatle-based pop, jam oriented
rock, techno, and 80's pop to name a few.
Please enjoy the ride and we certainly would like to hear
your feedback and comments at stalkingelephant@aol.com.

Twisted Roots CD
by Jason Ebs
Our Price: $15.89 CD
Usually ships in 1-2 days
"Twisted Roots" is the new CD from Jason Ebs. Almost titled after the words surrounding his Twisted Roots
logo "Examine Society, Question Authority", it's about following your dreams and being aware. In a world
currently transfixed on war and reality TV Shows, here comes a collection of music with substance.
The music has been best described as "moody, trippy, driving, and melodic." Introspective epics combined
with catchy rock & roll pop songs, with most of them able to be performed with just a vocal and an
acoustic guitar, as Jason often does as an acoustic show.
While forming the band, Jason found himself
playing with various notable musicians along the way. He toured North America along with Ace Frehley's
Band (KISS), singing and playing guitar for Peter Criss of KISS' band 'CRISS'. He's been a sub guitar
player for BERLIN (Terri Nunn). And he can be seen in the Hollywood circuit at celebrity jams sitting
in with anyone from Slash to Jeff Goldblum.Upon uniting over a little over 2 years ago, they immediately
headed into the studio and began recording the CD known as "Twisted Roots", with music targeting
important issues from self-doubt to Cloning. "I'm out to raise the awareness of the individual through
music" says Ebs. Jason then recorded 5 songs for the record and began playing shows.
Los Angeles base Magazine Music Connections writes that "Ebs' presence is larger than
life with his powerful range, perfect pitch, and emotion drenched delivery..."
also stating that his band is "made up of super-tight and talented musicians who offer a
compelling live show."The record features Pennsylvania's own Jason Ebs on lead vocals,
lead & rhythm guitars, bass, & percussion. Ohio's own Tiger Shaw is on the drums/percussion.
Chris Hammer plays bass, vocals, keys, & piano. Brett Dearth plays guitar, vocals, and keys/piano.
Additional guitar wizardry by Joey Amir and Nalle Colt.
"People are afraid to take chances" says Ebs
"because we're taught to take the safe and secure route in life. It's time to break free and reach for
your dreams..."Well, Reach On and thanks for listening...
