  •   Grown Folks Business
      by Mr. Barker
    Our Price: $12.99 CD / $9.99 MP3 Album Download
    Usually ships in 1-2 days
Mr. Barker is back at it with his debut album, Grown Folks Business, an album that doesn't break any new ground, but does its best to live up to its name while still keeping it upbeat, classy and soulful. His grind and work ethic is evident in the quality of production in the music and artistry.

Grown Folks Business begins on the right foot, with a clever introduction of a classic hip-hop sound in the Intro "Picture This". The album then starts its task of living up to its title with the super charged club banger "Number One Lady" produced by Epik for Grindstone Music Group.
The best of an R&B/Hip-hop blend. It’s an album full of love songs that are introspective but entertaining. If you like the quiet moods of a good slow song & the infectious beats of a hip-hop track, this album should be in your collection.

      Worn Soles
      by Rhema Soul
    Our Price: $8.00 CD / $7.00 MP3 Album Download
    Usually ships in 1-2 days
Their energetic live show has taken them all over the world, from Russia to South Africa to Lithuania to the Doby Hall in Scotland. The vision is pretty cut and dry, says emcee, Butta P; it is all about redefinition. Rhema Soul seeks to change the way you feel about music and the Gospel. And the results are refreshing, with a sound reminiscent of hip hops golden era, brought forth through the lens of todays unique times and culture. With jams ranging from the lighthearted to the soul quenching, these three emcees are providing the listener something to write home about. Ultimately, the heartbeat of Rhema Soul is discipleship, as the effects of the music go well beyond the parameters of sound and vibe. And their involvement in the local Body is, to them, of critical importance. Be forewarned. They are taking the Word to the streets. Rhema Soul... We got a word for your soul!
Members, K-Nuff, Juanlove, and Butta P, the feminine soul of the group, shine forth with a lyrical prowess that many would agree is missing in todays hip hop shuffle

      Paul Dateh
      by Paul Dateh
    Our Price: $12.97 CD
    Usually ships in 1-2 days
Originally, Paul Dateh was only supposed to be a violinist. Beginning his violin studies at the age of four, it seemed that Dateh’s future in the classical industry was set in stone. But, on his first day at The University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music, Dateh suddenly dropped his major in Violin Performance and enrolled in the Jazz Studies program instead. The move shocked his colleagues as it was hard to understand why anyone would walk away from fourteen years of classical training to begin learning an entirely new musical discipline. But, Dateh knew that he wanted to be more than just a classical musician; his goal was to become a musician, in every possible way.
An album that fuses R&B and Soul together with Funk, Jazz, Classical, and Rock. The debut album of one of the most recognized instrumentalists on the Internet.

      Ready To Live
      by Jahaziel
    Our Price: $12.97 CD / $9.99 MP3 Album Download
    Usually ships in 1-2 days
Over the last few years the underground UK music scene has been graced with a young talent that is poised to make a definite entry into the music industry at large. To date, Jahaziel has built a name for himself making guest appearances on the hits of others. Some of those that have had the opportunity to feature Jahaziel in their work include Lemar, Craig David, US R&B singer Monica, Stacie Orrico, Four Kornerz, Nina Jayne, Nathan Prime and Raymond & Co. He also made a guest appearance on two tracks for Daniel Bedingfield’s platinum-selling and Grammy nominated album “Gotta Get Thru This.” He has appeared on stage with many of those artists plus other notables like Kim Burrell and platinum-selling US Gospel artist Kirk Franklin. For an extensive period he was the choice rapper for leading UK production outfit Blacksmith before stepping out to begin creating his own path.
Showcasing his advanced lyricism, the incredible ‘Ready To Live’ is due to break molds and set new standards in the gospel genre, the worldwide Hip Hop scene and music as a whole.

      by LIN QUE
    Our Price: $9.99 CD / $9.99 MP3 Album Download
    Usually ships in 1-2 days
When I put the CD in my player I thought this can’t be a women rhyming like this, I was very impressed by Lin Que’s rhyme flow on God Speed and who can’t forget her part in the Hip Hop group The X-Clan with brother J and the Professor X (God bless his soul), I felt Lin Que delivery was extraordinary and I mean if she was in a free style battle she would put away a lot of well known artist, she definitely holds her own on the mic, so some of you artist better tighten up your skills because This Nubian God seed will bring it to your front door and open it, I particularly like the song’s Keep it Real Tight and Get it Poppin, You got to give it to the sister, if you got it you got it and Lin Que sure delivers, definitely a must have CD.
Starving Hip Hop fans are forced to huddle, like scavengers, over crumbs that symbolize hope for anything that remotely sounds like True Hip Hop. Bon Appetit.

Singer – songwriter INEZ was born and raised in Sto:lo Territory on the Skowkale First Nation near Chilliwack BC. She was born to a Sto:lo/Musqueam father and an Ojibway/Metis mother. Both sides of Inez’s family have strong musical roots, one in traditional Sto:lo singing and the other in Metis fiddling and dancing. Her contemporary R&B sound blends with her traditional influences to create her own unique sound. This accounts for why the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network’s (APTN) program, Beyond Words, featured Inez in an episode titled “Traditional and not so Traditional”.

      Liquid Courage
      by Wax and EOM
    Our Price: $12.99 CD / $9.99 MP3 Album Download
    Usually ships in 1-2 days
Liquid Courage is a collaboration between Wax (rapper/singer/songwriter) and EOM (producer/beatmaker/songwriter). The album consists of 17 songs that were written in 2008 by the group. The sound of the album could be described as experimental hip hop, although there is definitely an element of pop sensibility throughout. Lyrically the album touches on a wide variety of topics such as sex, God, alcoholism, whack rappers, love, music, partying, and much more. There is alot of melody and alot of soul on this album.
By blending EOM's soul drenched nontraditional beats with Wax's witty lyricism and melodic punch, this album creates something completely new while still maintaining a backbone that hip hop purists can easily relate to.
