DAVID BERKELEY: The Confluence
This is David's debut record, a great place to start. The songs have an honesty and rawness of emotion that is refreshing.
Always the draw with David, his lyrics are pure poetry here. His voice is younger, and it is interesting to hear how his
sound has matured and changed from this 2002 release to his 2009 release of Strange Light.
Rollingstone.com calls David Berkeley "a double fantasy of Nick Drake and Donovan,"
describing his voice as "sweeter than incense and peppermints."
