Running a large information website like EvO:R is a very time consuming process. We have been told many times to give away just a few snippets of information and charge a small membership fee for anyone that wants to have access to over 800 insider tips written by industry players, 300 guitar repair questions and answers, CD's reviews done by professional reviews such as Grammy Award Winners and active members of the Indie Music Community.

We do survive with a small affiliation income from our Friends at CD Baby, Peacework Music Network, itunes, imovies as well as a few others but in general we do this because we love to help.

When I first got started in the music business in the middle 70's I had nothing to go on, no books, no manual nothing. We just got by on luck, good looks and stupidity.

When the Internet was just getting popular I noticed that hundreds of "pipe dream" scammers where making their way onto the internet and I thought it would be a good thing to start a website dedicated to helping the indie musician. As a result EvO:R was born and has been around for a decade.

What happens to your donation?

At EvO:R we use every penny donated to pay over-head expenses. We operate on a shoestring budget so we can really stretch a dollar a long way.
